Pay It Forward Grant: Christian Veterinary Center

The Forward Foundation is proud to award The Pay It Forward Grant to Christian Veterinary Mission on behalf of Black American Engineering Scholarship Award mentor Sean Flanagan.

Sean donates his time and talent as a mentor to The Forward Foundation’s Black American Engineering Scholarship Award. This program combines education with mentorship to increase racial equity in the field of engineering by funding students with scholarships and providing them with professional mentors to assist them in their challenging university programs.
.
The Pay It Forward Mentorship Grant was created to show gratitude for individuals like Mr. Flanagan who donate their time as mentors. At the close of the school year, each mentor is awarded a $2,500 grant from the Forward Foundation and is provided with the opportunity to direct the grant in their name to a public charity or educational institution of their choice.

Christian Veterinary Mission is a 501(c)3 nonprofit with the goal to challenge, empower, and facilitate veterinarians to serve others through their profession while living out their faith and providing education and encouragement. The organization sends volunteers around the world to serve through veterinary medicine and has significant impact on the well being of countless animals. Additionally, the organization supports special projects. Mr. Flanagan has chosen to direct his grant to three of Christian Veterinary Mission’s projects in the country of Haiti. These projects are: Sewing Classes, Veterinary Training Clinics and Community Schools. Mr. Flanagan’s parents worked with these projects in Haiti for many years and can speak first-hand on the incredible impact this nonprofit provides.

The Pay It Forward Grant is funded by The Forward Foundation, which partners with compassionate individuals to support like-minded missions for human equality and animal rights.
